The LAC CoP gathers 7 universities from 6 countries in Latin America and was created at the beginning of 2023. The main objective of this CoP is to promote and/or strengthen the design, implementation and evaluation of gender equality plans and policies in universities.

The Latin America Community of Practices has just released a publication titled “Intersectionality: Reflections on Its Implications for Gender Equality Policies in Latin American Universities.”

The Latin American Community of Practice of the INSPIRE project will participate in the 6th Latin American and Caribbean Congress of Social Sciences of FLACSO “Thinking about the future. Social transformations in Latin America and the Caribbean” to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from November 5 to 7, 2025.
