1. Data Controller

2. Purposes

The personal data provided by the user will be processed for the following purposes:

  • To attend to requests for information and/or queries addressed to FUOC. The data processed for this purpose will be retained until the request for information and/or consultation has been answered and, after that, for the legally stipulated periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities.
  • To keep the User informed, including by electronic means, about INSPIRE products, services and news. The data processed for this purpose will be stored until the revocation of the consent given for the receipt of such communications and, thereafter, during the periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities provided by law.

 

3. Legitimation

The legal basis for the data processing is the consent given to the FUOC.

 

4. Place where the information is stored

The information and personal data provided are stored on the servers of the FUOC or of suppliers and companies that act as data processors and have servers in the territory of the European Union. In the event that data is processed outside the European Union, this will be done in accordance with the legal guarantees provided for in the regulations in force and in accordance with what is communicated by the Data Protection Authorities at any given time.

Likewise, the FUOC, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter, " GDPR"), and Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE), informs you that it has implemented the necessary security measures, of a technical and organizational nature, to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data processed.

 

5. Recipients

FUOC will not communicate personal data for use by third parties, unless it is necessary to comply with legal obligations or the consent of the data subject is obtained.

FUOC may communicate the data to third party providers that provide auxiliary services, considered data processors: providers of electronic communications, office automation, hosting, housing, computer maintenance, management, accounting, auditing, consulting and legal representation, among others. Some of these processors may be located outside the European Economic Area, in which case FUOC will have previously adopted the appropriate data protection safeguards.

 

6. Rights of data subjects

Right of access: allows the data subject to know and obtain information about their personal data being processed.

Right of rectification: to correct errors and modify data that are inaccurate or incomplete.

Right of opposition: the right of the data subject not to have his or her personal data processed or to cease the processing thereof.

Right of erasure: the right of the data subject to request the deletion of his or her personal data.

Restriction of processing: involves the marking of the personal data retained, in order to limit their future processing.

Data portability: provision of the data undergoing processing to the data subject, so that he/she can transmit them to another data controller without hindrance.

Right not to be subject to automated individual decisions for which the data subject has not given his or her consent (including profiling).

The right not to be subject to a decision based on automated processing that produces effects or significantly affects.

Right to withdraw the consent given at any time.

The application must contain a copy of your ID card or equivalent identification document as well as the minimum content provided for in the applicable regulations. If the request does not meet the specified requirements, you may be required to amend them.

The exercise of the above rights is free of charge, although a fee may be charged when requests are unfounded, excessive or repetitive.

The FUOC, in response to the trust placed in us and taking into account the importance in terms of protection and confidentiality required by the user's personal data, informs you that it has adopted all the necessary technical and organizational measures to safeguard their security, as required by the current regulations governing the European Data Protection Regulation, the regulations in force on the Protection of Personal Data and the opinions of the Authorities on data protection and information security.
