I have a background in biophysics and computing. Since 2009, I have led and participated in many projects and inititaives aimed at advancing research quality by tackling gender inequalities in participation and representation as well as gender biases and gaps in scientific evidence and knowledge, across a variety of research, innovation, socio-technical development, and policy areas. In 2011, I established the Gender Summit platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue, with 24 events globally, creating a 7000 strong community of experts and practitioners in the process.
