International Women's Day brings together EU sister projects

international women's day

There is no better feeling than celebrating International Women's Day alongside partners and sister projects who share your belief in women's empowerment and work on building a fair world for women in Europe and beyond!

For this year's 8th of March, we initiated a campaign together with our sister project ATHENA to celebrate women's accomplishments and raise awareness of the continuous need to push for achieving true gender equality. We named the campaign #Purple4Women and crafted several key messages that encapsulate the mission of our projects and the symbolism behind the day itself, such as "Together for a gender equal world", messages which we used in a creative way, by putting them on bracelets! We were happy to see that partners from both projects joined our campaign and made our voices heard on social media, across their networks.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who joined our call to action and encourage you to follow our work and support us in our mission of creating a more equal Europe.
