About (in English)
I am a sociologist and science policy expert, working as an assistant professor at the National Information Processing Institute in Warsaw, Poland. My scientific interests include the transformation of the Polish R&D sector and women’s participation in research, particularly STEM (the doctoral thesis on professional biographies of female professors in the field of technoscience). In my work at the Laboratory of Databases and Business Analytics, I use business intelligence tools to improve data quality and support science policy decisions. In the European project GENDERACTIONplus I coordinate the implementation of a dashboard that contains interactive reports presenting statistics on the women’s participation in the European R&D sector (https://genderaction-data-dashboard.opi.org.pl). For many years, I’ve been a statistical correspondent for Poland in the She Figures reports.
